Central Kickboxing and Arnis Article, “Guro Jerome Teague: The Professor”

According to Guro Teague, members of Applied Eskrima are there to learn a skill set that hinges on the individual’s ability to research, think critically, and then act. They train, and anything beyond that is dismissed including politics and especially inflated egos. Their training is typically done outdoors at scattered locations throughout Nashville, Tennessee.

Guro Teague is called the professor because he is a walking FMA encyclopedia. Teague enjoys the study of FMA’s rich history, culture and diverse training. In his words, “It becomes an all-encompassing pursuit requiring the intellect as well as the physical body”.
